Also known as menthol, this ingredient is a topical analgesic and local vasodilator. Also lowers skin barrier function for improved penetration of herbal constituents.
Wintergreen
Wintergreen is a topical analgesic and antibacterial. It is traditionally used for poor circulation, inflammation, tendonitis, joint pain, arthritis, and rheumatism.
Angelica Root
Also known as dang gui, it has been clinically shown to have antitumor, anti-tuberculosis, neuroprotective, & hematopoeitic effects in vitro. Dang gui also contains certain polysaccharides which may assist in treatment of osteoarthritis, anemia, & cellular oxidative damage.
