Ski Snowboard Packing Trip Tips

Things to think about that can help you pack more adequately:

1. Check the weather. Search online at the resort website, if possible, for the most accurate daily temperature ranges on the slopes. If you're lodging far from the mountains, check those temps as well. Sometimes, the difference in temperatures warrants bringing shorts as part of your off slopes attire!

2. Count the trip days. Count all of the days you will be skiing plus your travel days. Make note of the clothing that you will reuse on the trip and pack clothing for one extra day, just in case you're stranded at the airport or lodge. It's nice to be wearing something comfortable in uncomfortable situations!

3. Bring cash along with credit cards. These days, you can pay with your phone. But, cash is always king. Put a few bucks in your wallet for those instances when you're in the middle of nowhere with no cell phone service and one convenient store with that bag of chips you need to keep yourself strong enough for one more downhill run!

4. Organize everything before packing. Some people just toss everything into one suitcase. Others are meticulous about where it all should go. We advise some sort of organization before packing everything into your suitcase. Packing cubes are a great way to keep different articles of clothing separate...and if you don't like to fold or roll your clothing, you can still find your clothing as long as you cram similar items into each cube!

Conclusion

Take a deep breath. You got this!
